Telangana Request COVID19 Vaccine Doses, No Word from Centre: KTR

Hyderabad, 12 April: K T Rama Rao, MA&UD Minister, criticizing the central government on shortage of Covid vaccines across the country, and said there was no word from the Centre on the appeal made by Telangana government for supply of additional vaccine doses.

Earlier Telangana Chief Secretary, Somesh Kumar on Saturday wrote a letter to Rajesh Bhushan, Union Health Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare seeking 30 lakh doses of Covid vaccines that would least for the next 15 days.

In view of increasing Covid-19 cases, KTR appealed to the people to be watchful and cooperate with the government in containing the spread of the COVID19.

K T Rama Rao, MA&UD Minister, however ruled out the possibility of imposing a complete lockdown.
