Activist Umar Khalid Recovered in Tihar Jail, Tested Negative for Covid-19

New Delhi: Umar Khalid, a Former JNU student, and activist tested negative for Covid-19 on Tuesday and is now out of quarantine.

He was tested positive on 25th April 19 inside Tihar jail and was being treated in Jail.

Umar Khalid’s father, Sayed Qasim Rasool Ilyas confirm the news that Khaled is now tested negative on Twitter,  He wrote, “I am pleased to inform that by the grace of God my son #UmarKhalid has tested covid negative and is out of quarantine. I thank all his friends and well-wishers who were worried and prayed for him.”

Earlier, Umar Khalid, a Former JNU student, and activist tested positive for COVID-19 inside Tihar jail on Saturday, 25 April, reports said.
