Saudi Arabia Ends Travel Ban from UAE and 10 More Countries

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has lifted travel restrictions from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and 10 more countries. Travel restrictions were imposed to curb the spread of a COVID19.

From 1:00 AM today (Sunday), passengers from the UAE, Germany, the US, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, the UK, Sweden, Switzerland, France, and Japan may enter the Kingdom with the implementation of quarantine regulations.

The source affirmed that the institutional quarantine will be applied to those coming from these countries, and this announcement is based on the Public Health Authority’s report regarding the epidemiological situation in many declared countries, which showed stability and effectiveness in controlling the pandemic in some of these countries.

However, 13 countries including India remain on the Saudi Arabian Interior Ministry’s no-go flight “red list.”
