Hyderabad: 10 Hospitals including Virinchi Hospital Covid19 Treatment Permission Cancelled in just 2 days for Violation and medical negligence in treating the COVID-19 patient.
Today 5 more hospitals permission to treat COVID-19 patients were revoked, yesterday also 5 hospitals permission to treat COVID-19 patients were revoked after 115 complaints against 79 Hospitals have been received in the last 2 days against private hospitals with regards to Excess & irrelevant charges in addition to the prescribed norms, and Mismanagement, lack of proper attention, etc.
Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao, Director, Public Health and Family Welfare department, stated cancelling permission on Saturday are:
- Image Hospital (Ameerpet),
- Ankura Hospita (LB Nagar),
- Sia Life Hospital (Kondapur),
- Panchavati Hospital (Bhoothpur, Mahbubnagar) and
- Sai Siddartha Hospital (Shapur Nagar, Sanga Reddy).
After cancellation of license, now no new COVID -19 patient shall be admitted by the hospital, and no inconvenience should be caused to already admitted patients and they have to be treated as per treatment protocols. And if it is found that the said hospital is not following these orders, then the Government will be compelled to cancel the license issued to the hospital, stated in the order.
