Hyderabad: Kothapet fruits market will be officially shut down from midnight on Saturday.
Mutyam Reddy, vice chairman of the market committee said that they had resolved to close down the market from tonight, and the market would be shifted to the newly built fruit market at Batasingaram, which is scheduled to operate from October 1.
Mutyam Reddy advised the farmers, businessmen not to bring their produce to the present Kothapet market. The process of the shifting of the fruit market would begin today, i.e., 25th September and it would continue till October 1.
