Fake Factory of Branded Tea, Mentholated Ointment Raided in Mangalhat, Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A Fake Factory of Branded Tea Raided by Mangalhat Police and seized duplicate Red Label tea and other products on Sunday night.

Acting on a complaint by G Vijay Kumar, a representative of Hindustan Unilever Limited the Mangalhat police carried out the raid and on the warehouse, the police seized other fake manufactured products including Red Label tea packets and Vicks Vaporub (Mentholated Ointment).

According to police, an accused Narender Chowdhary, was allegedly packing a local tea powder in branded Red Label tea packets, Vicks Vaporub, and supplying it in the market.

Mangalhal police register a case under the Copyright Act and Section 420 of the IPC and are investigating is on.
