Kolkata: Mamata Banerjee today won a triumph victory in West Bengal, However, she was defeated in a cliffhanger in Nandigram against BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari by a narrow margin of 1,622 votes.

“What Bengal thinks today, India will think tomorrow” said Gopal Krishna Gokhale, India’s noted Independence leader.

Mamata Banerjee today after land slid victory has proved him right in 2021.

Banerjee is now India’s only woman leader and chief minister taking on the might of India’s ruling party.

Call it a trifecta or a hat trick, Mamata Banerjee retain West Bengal for a record third term.

Consider the risk,  BJP, broke TMC with near 40 defections, and after  Prime Minister Modi addressed nearly 20 public meetings, armed with unlimited money power so much so that even veteran BJP leaders were shocked after the results.
