Hyderabad: A police constable, Banothu Abhilash posted at the Madannapet police station allegedly commits suicide by slitting his own throat in his house in Malakpet on Monday night.
According to Malakpet police, On Monday night, B. Abhilash came home and locked himself in his room in Malakpet, his brother Prabhu raised suspicious when he did not answer phone calls, and with the help of the neighbor, they broke open the door and found B. Abhilash dead, lying in a room with a throat slit.
B. Abhilash, 33, of Baladannama basthi who lived with his wife Jyothi, and two children. But they were not at home at the incident time, as B. Abhilash had left her and the children with her parents two days ago.
The police have shifted the body to Osmania Hospital morgue for post-mortem, and are investigating the reasons behind the death/suicide.
