Senior Congress Leader Satyanarayana Rao Passes Away

Hyderabad: M. Satyanarayana Rao, 87, a veteran Congress leader and former minister of united Andhra Pradesh passed away early Tuesday at a hospital in Hyderabad,

Satyanarayana Rao was tested positive for Covid-19 and was admitted to Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) on Sunday.

He was native of Vedira village of Karimnagar district and survived by wife, two daughters and two sons.

Satyanarayana Rao, former PCC president, who also elected member of Parliament in 1971 for three terms, on the ticket of Telangana Praja Samithi.

Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed grief and extended their deepest condolences to the family members of the bereaved family
