All Schools, Colleges Closed from Jan 8 to 16 in Telangana : Rise in Covid19

Hyderabad: Telangan government decided to declare holidays for all schools, colleges and other educational institutions in the State from January 8 to January 16.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Monday directed the authorities to declare holidays considering the rising Covid-19 cases.

Telangana Director of Public Health and Family Welfare (DPH) Srinivas Rao has dismissed the rumours of lockdown and night curfews in the state. He further told, “Some false/misleading news is circulating on social media about lockdown and night curfew. I request you not to carry such rumours,”.
