Hyderabad, 29 March: Deceased wife, Soundarya 32 year was strangulated to death by husband S Darshan.
According to sources, late on Sunday, Husband Darshan went home with a whisky and the both husband and wife drank it together, and later in the night, Darshan allegedly strangulated wife, Soundarya to death with a towel.
After killing wife Darshan left the body in the house and walked into the Osmania University police station, where he surrendered. Darshan told the police that, he had family related issues with his wife and earlier tried to end the relationship. However, due to the family elders advised he had continued the relationship but when issues started again, he decided to kill his wife.
The victim Soundarya was married to S Darshan (vegetable vendor) eight years ago and they had two children.
The Osmania University police have booked a case under Section 302 (murder) of IPC, arrested the husband and further investigation in process.
