Seven Drown and Dead after celebrating Holi across Telangana

Hyderabad, 29 March: Seven persons drown and died in different incidents after celebrating Holi festival across Telangana.

The incidents took places in Sangareddy, Nizamabad, Vikarabad, Asifabad, Adilabad, and Keesara districts

Sangareddy District, a young boy Begari Nivarthi, 12 drown and died in a pit at Venkatapuram village in Narayankhed mandal, he went to take bath with his friends after playing Holi. The body was retrieved.

Nizamabad District, Patnam Rakesh (15) drown and died, he went for a swim in a tank at Siddapur village of Rajampet mandal after playing Holi

Vikarabad District, M Kumar (16), drown and died, Kumar a resident of Pudoor village, went to the tank for fishing along with his family members. He drowned after reaching a deep point. His body is yet to be retrieved.

Asifabad District, Kodupa Pramod (20), a shepherd drowns and died in a canal of scrapped Pranahita-Chevella project at Salugupalli village.

Adilabad District, Padi Krishna (24), a resident of Adigam village drown and died when he got into an irrigation tank to take bath after playing Holi. Since he doesn’t know swimming, he drowned and died when he was mistakenly reach into a deep part of the tank.

Keesara District, K Ramu (27), a private employee from Gandhinagar drowns and died, who went Cheeryal Lake for a bath with his friends after playing Holi with his friends, drowned and died. The body was retrieved.

Nizamabad District, a fisherman Besta Kashaiah (35) drown and died when he fell into Nizamsagar backwaters at Ruraram village outskirts late on Sunday night, he was the native of Thimmareddy village.
