Mohammed Siraj Felicitated by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad: Local hero and World Cup-winning Team India player Mohammed Siraj met Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy upon his return to Hyderabad on Tuesday. CM Revanth Reddy felicitated and congratulated Siraj on Team India’s historic T20 World Cup victory, which ended a 17-year wait. During the ceremony, Siraj presented a Team India jersey to the CM. Also in attendance were former Team India captain Azharuddin, Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.

Earlier, Siraj, along with his teammates, met PM Modi after returning to India and later participated in the Victory Parade in Mumbai. The 30-year-old cricketer received a grand welcome in Hyderabad on Friday. The right-arm fast bowler played in three matches and took one wicket in the recently concluded T20 World Cup.
