Seven Arrested for Black Marketing Remdesivir in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone Team conducted simultaneous raids in the limits of Panjagutta, Banjara Hills, and SR Nagar areas and arrested seven persons who were black marketing Remdesivir injections (Covifor).

The accused were selling Remdesivir injections to needy customers up to Rs 35,000 for each vial without any valid documents.

Police also seized 32 Remdesivir Injections (COVIFOR) and 7 cell phones from the accused.

The arrested persons along with seized material were handed over concerned police station for further required action.

The arrested persosn are, Sunku Damodar, Putta Ramalingesh, Busam Girish Kumar, Grandhi Gouri Shankar, Grandhi Harish Kumar, Potnuru Mukunda Rao, and Arakanti Chinna.
