Wanted by AP Police, Man who Married 8 Women in Visakhapatnam, AP

Visakhapatnam, 30 March: Andhra Pradesh police om hunt for a person who married eight women and later tried to force them into prostitution.

Arun Kumar, allegedly a ganja smuggler, who married eight women forced his first and second wives into prostitution and tortured them. He also tried to sell his first wife’s daughter in to the brothel house, threatening to kill them if they did not oblige him.

Last month one of the wives complained to police about his torture and evil plans, but local police allegedly having links with Arun Kumar, did neither register a case not take any action against Arun Kumar.

Women later approached women organizations for help. When women organizations took the case to city Commissioner of Police Manish Kumar, the latter has issued orders for the arrest of Arun Kumar.

Gautham Sawang, Director General of Police Andhra Pradesh directed the CP to take stern action on him immediately.
