Two Young Boys Down in Jalpally Lake

Hyderabad: Two youngsters lost their lives in Jalpally Lake on the city’s outskirts last Sunday.

According to Pahadi Shareef police report that Abdul Wahab (17) and Osman Nahadi (19), along with three companions, had come to Jalpally Tank for fishing. “Both Wahab and Nahadi entered the water and tragically drowned. None of them were familier with swimming.

GHMC and State DRF teams arrived at the scene to initiate search and recovery operations for the bodies. Two Class 8 students were feared drowned while they were fishing at the Jalpally lake on Sunday, Pahadi Shareef police said. They were among a group of five students who had gone to the lake at 11 am.
