Traffic Cop drive against Tinted Glasses, Number Plates violators, and Text MLA and MP on Cars

Hyderabad: Traffic police in Hyderabad continued their crackdown against tinted glasses on vehicles and faulty number plates in the city on Sunday and booked cases for tampering with the registration number plates.

According to Traffic police in Hyderabad, in case of false number plates and deletion of digits/letters, the vehicles were being seized. “Traffic officials will verify the registration number on the vehicle number plate with the documents. Criminal cases will be booked against those tampering with the registration number of the vehicle and plying it on the road,”

The traffic police said that even displaying writings like ‘Police, Government vehicle, Press, Corporator, Army, MLA and MP’ are violations of Sections 50, 51 and 52 of the Motor Vehicle Rules,”
