Hyderabad, 01 April: Praveen Rao, a 27-year-old student from Nalgonda district on Thursday committed suicide in Canada by jumping off a building. He was taken to hospital, where doctors pronounced brought dead.
According to sources, Praveen Rao went into depression after his parents rejected his suggestion to marry a girl who was his friend, and took the extreme step.
Praveen Rao was son of a farmer family Narayan Rao, Hemawati, who was native of Akuthotapalli village, mandal Dundee in Nalgonda district left for Canada for higher education in 2015.
According to his relatives, Praveen went to Canada in 2015 for higher education. Later he took a petrol bunk on lease and was running the business. He was recently got Permanent Resident (PR) visa. He was scheduled to visit India on Friday.
