SCR Converts 100 Train Coaches to Covid Care Centres in Secunderabad, Kazipet

Hyderabad: Second wave of Covid-19 surge stressing the existing healthcare system, as patients are finding it difficult to get a bed in the hospitals.

Consequently, the South Central Railway (SCR) has converted 100 train coaches into Covid-19 care centres well equipped with medicines and nursing staff, besides oxygen cylinders to provide 1,000 beds for Telangana.

SCR already started using these coaches at Secunderabad and Kazipet railway hospitals for Employees, families and retired employees.

If the Telangana government requests, we are ready to hand over these isolation wards to meet the requirements.
