Hyderabad: Robbers Opens Fire at ATM, Kills Security Guard, Fled with Money.

Hyderabad: Aa security guard was killed and another injured at ATM after armed robbers opened fire.

The incident happened today (Thursday) afternoon at at a HDFC bank ATM at Patel Kunta park, at Kukatpally under the Cyberabad police limits while members of a private security agency were loading cash in ATM, they were attacked suddenly armed robbers who were on bike, took the cash and fled from the scene.

Two person Ali Baig, the security guard who was injured in a firing is succumbed to his injuries. He was declared brought dead at the hospital. Srinivas, the other staff being treated. His condition is said to be stable.

According to police, the robbers brandished a pistol and demanded the cash bag, but as the staff refused, they opened fire on Ali Baig, who suffered injuries on his stomach and Srinivas, who suffered an injury on his leg. Both robbers fled the spot with Rs 5 lakh on the bike.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar visited the spot and has formed three special teams to identify and nab the suspects.
