Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police filed a case against the administrators of the Telangana Congress party’s ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) account for allegedly disseminating false information. BJP State General Secretary G Premender Reddy complained with the police, alleging that Congress party leaders had manipulated a video of Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding his remarks on Muslim and SC/ST reservations.
Acting on the complaint, the police registered a case under Section 469 and 505 (1)(c) of the IPC and are currently conducting an investigation.
