Hyderabad: According to Rachakonda police, the couple Chandana Naga Ravi Raja and his wife Sunitha @ Anusha have been running an underground business of brothel house in Saroornagar PS limits by procuring girls/women from Andhra Pradesh and other parts of the state through one by name Rekha. They induce the girls on the pretext of providing employment, livelihood and later force them to do prostitution. They collect and only give lesser amounts to the victim girls. Thus, they are living on the earnings of prostitution.
Rachakonda and Saroornagar Police and arrested the duo along with one male customer a week before and rescued one victim woman.
Mahesh M Bhagwat, Commissioner of Police, to prevent them from indulging in human trafficking, prostitution and to preserve public order invoked PD Act against both of them and lodged them in Central Prison.
