Medical Supplier Arrested for Black-Marketing Remdesivir in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: K Vineeth, a medical supplier was arrested on Thursday on charges of black marketing Remdesivir injections.

Police seized five Remdesivir vials, two mobile phones, and a bike from him.

According to the police, K Vineeth (26), a medicine supplier from Peerzadiguda in Boduppal, was selling the injections, each for Rs 27,000, while the actual cost of it being Rs 3,490.

He was arrested by the Special Operations Team of Malkajgiri Police and seized five Remdesivir vials, two mobile phones, and a bike from him.

K Vineeth was handed over to the Nacharam police for further action.
