MLA Mumtaz Khan Slaps Neighbor for Not Wishing Salam, FIR Registered against MLA

Hyderabad: Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, Charminar MLA has been booked by police for allegedly slapping and threatening a neighbor on Sunday.

According to police, MLA’s neighbor Ghulam Ghouse Jeelani was sitting in front of his residence which is located beside AIMIM Charminar MLA Mumtaz Khan’s residence. The complainant alleged that the MLA slapped him and threatened him.

 Acting on the complaint filed by the Ghulam Ghouse Jeelani in his complaint alleged that the local MLA assaulted and threatened him for not wishing, a case under IPC sections 341 (wrongful restraint), 323 (Voluntarily causing hurt) and 506 (criminal intimidation) has been booked against Mumtaz Khan.

After receiving a complaint, The Hussaini Alam police on Sunday registered a case under sections 341, 323, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against the AIMIM MLA.
