Kolkata, 23 March: BJP inWest Bengal today released its final list of candidates for the upcoming Assembly polls and Mithun Chakraborty was not included in the final list.
Rashbehari constituency many believed was reserved for the Mithun. Instead of Mithun the BJP has fielded retired Lieutenant General Subrata Saha from Rashbehari constituency.
BJP sources had earlier told that the prestigious Rashbehari constituency seat was being kept open for the Mithun Chakraborty, since he shared the dais with PM Modi on 7th March at the BJP’s mega Brigade Parade Ground rally in Kolkata.
On 7th March Mithun Chakraborty said that, “I am not a harmless water snake or a harmless desert snake. I am a pure cobra. Can Kill in one Bite, I will turn you into a photograph.”
No one was expected that before Cobra bites someone, Cobra itself bitten by the party.
