Hyderabad, 22 March: Three persons including a couple and their friend were arrested by the Nampally police for killing a car driver from the Hyderabad city and dumping his body in a forest area near Bidar.
The arrested persons were Shiva Kumar (28) of Delhi, Khanum (22) of Bidar, and Ravi (22) also from Bidar.
According Nampally PS, on March 5, Shiva Kumar, 28 (Delhi) and his wife Khanum, 22, (Bidar) hired the cab of Aslam Khan to go to Bidar, and then Ravi, one of their friend joined in the car on the way, when they reached near Bidar, Shiva Kumar strangled Aslam Khan (driver) with a wire and disposed the body of Khan in a forest near Bidar, and sold the car in scrap in Bidar for 14,000 rupees.
Earlier Nampally Police register a case of missing and started investigation, during investigation the murder came to light. Police tracked and questioned the couple based on records from a lodge from Afzalgunj where they stayed. During investigation, they confessed of killing Aslam Khan for money, police said
Shiva Kumar befriended khanum through social media and eloped, got married, and after running out of money, they planned the incident.
All three were produced before the criminal court and sent to jail.
