Hyderabad: Kalvakuntla Kavitha launched a new political party, Telangana Rashtra Sena (TRS), on April 25 in Hyderabad. The name has drawn attention because it closely resembles the old Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
The original TRS was founded by her father, K. Chandrashekar Rao, which is now known as the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). Kavitha was earlier suspended from this party, leading to her exit.
