Israeli Opposition Closing Deal to Expel PM Netanyahu

Tel Aviv: To Expel Benjamin Netanyahu from power Israeli opposition parties have moved closer to a deal towards forming a government in Israel.

Benjamin Netanyahu is the country’s longest-serving prime minister.

Yair Lapid, 57, Centrist party leader is seemingly close to accomplishment a coalition agreement with the ultra-nationalist leader Naftali Bennett, until Wednesday to form a new coalition government.

Both opposition parties are about to close a deal for sharing government that would see Mr. Bennett, 49, serve as PM for the first 2 years and Mr. Lapid for the second half of the term.
