Hyderabad: Mortal remains of Indian student Mohammed Abdul Arfath, who was found dead in the US earlier this month, arrive at his residence in Hyderabad.

NewYork: Mohammed Abdul Arfath, 25-year-old student from Hyderabad, who moved to the US in 2023 for a Master’s at Cleveland State University, has been found dead, the Indian consulate in New York said today.
He had been missing for nearly three weeks, and the consulate had earlier said that it was in touch with Abdul’s family and was working with local law enforcement agencies to locate him. This morning, the embassy said he was found dead.
It’s also important for local law enforcement agencies to continue their investigation to determine the cause of Mohammed Abdul Arfath’s death and to bring any responsible parties to justice.

Hyderabad: Abdul Mohammed, a 25-year-old from Hyderabad, left for the USA to pursue a master’s degree in Information Technology at Cleveland University, Ohio. USA and His family claim he has not spoken to them since March 7.
The father Mohammed Saleem received a ransom call last week from an unknown number, informing him that his son had been kidnapped by drug sellers in Cleveland. The unidentified caller informed them their son had been kidnapped and threatened to sell his kidney if they didn’t arrange One Lakh Rupees without specifying the mode of payment.
His parents then informed his relatives in the US, who filed a missing complaint with the Cleveland police. Mr Mohammed was wearing a white T-shirt, red jacket, and blue jeans, said the cops in their watch order.
