Hyderabad: In a terrible incident, A 8-year-old girl died after a wooden almirah fell on her at a school on Monday night.
According to sources, Keerthi, an 8-year-old, and her younger sibling were with their mother Latha who works as an ‘aaya’ in a private school in Boduppal, and when her mother was busy cleaning the furniture in the classrooms, the two children were playing in an adjacent room in the school.
“While playing, one of the wooden almirah filled with books accidentally fell on Keerthi, she suffered grievous injuries, She was rushed to a private hospital, where she died later while being treated.
The Medipally police register a case and are investigating. The body was shifted to the hospital for post-mortem.
