Hyderabad: The Rachakonda police in association with Mahendra Logistics Ltd. launched a free of cost cab service for senior citizens, pregnant women, and non-critical medical emergencies on 24 April. It also launched an ambulance service.
‘Alyte’ by Mahindra Logistics Ltd. will offer non-critical emergency services by providing two vehicles to those requiring emergency transportation services except for all medical emergencies. These services will be available 24/7 basis.
The ambulance service can be availed by calling the Covid-19 control room 9490617234. Alyte services will provide to the areas in the Malkajgiri zone like Kushiaguda, Neredmet, Nacharam, Malkagiri, and Uppal. Even during the night curfew hours, services may be availed for non-critical medical emergencies.
Rachakonda commissioner of police, Mahesh Bhagwat, said the services may be availed by senior citizens who need to go for vaccination to the nearest vaccination center, pregnant women or those with infants who need medical attention or women who have to visit hospitals and dispensaries for periodical doctor’s appointment.
