Nizamabad: A Junior Doctor and Compounderwere arrested on Thursday for selling fake Remdesivir vials filled with saline water in Nizamabad.
Arrested persons were named as…
- Dr Sai Krishna Naidu, a junior doctor at a private nursing home, and
- Sathish, a compounder at Armoor-based private nursing home.
According to Nizamabad police, Ranjeet Kumar approached Dr Sai Krishna Naidu, for Remdesivir injection for his brother treatment, who is Covid-19, patient. Dr. Sai guided him to Satish a compounder.
Nizamabad police register a case, arrested both doctor and compounder and investigating if they earlier sold any fakes vials.
