Aligarh, April 09, 2020: Sanjay Kumar, a Tuberculosis patient died after failing to get proper medical treatment due to the Coronavirus lockdown on Thursday. Sanjay Kumar, a father of five daughters, sold tea to support his family.
According to reports Sanjay Kumar hadn’t died of Covid-19 but he was unable to get proper medical treatment for his TB because of the lockdown, and his died after his condition had worsened during the lockdown.
No one was ready to perform the final rites of the deceased due to the fear of Coronavirus and also the restrictions imposed on movement under the lockdown.
In a distress situation, Sanjay’s daughters carried the dead body to the crematorium on their shoulders and also performed the final rites of their father.
