Barmer: Chandra Sharda, a 34-year-old daughter woman sustained severe burns on Wednesday, when she jumped on the father’s funeral pyre, who died to Covid-19.
According to sources, Damodardas Sharda, 73-years old died at a hospital on Tuesday after during Covid-19 treatment, and while he was being cremated, Chandra Sharda the youngest of his three daughters, suddenly jumped on the pyre, she was pulled out of it immediately by people, However by the time she sustained around 70 percent burn injuries.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital later shifted to a hospital in Jodhpur for treatment.
Damodardas Sharda’s wife passed away some time back. He had three daughters, and the youngest of the sisters jumped on the funeral pyre.
