New Delhi: Covishield of Serum Institute of India (SII) is now okayed by nine European countries, Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Spain, Estonia, and Switzerland.

Europe’s top medical body, European Medicines Agency (EMA) earlier, has approved only four vaccines Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca (Vaxzervria), and Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen.

Only those who have been given these shots are granted vaccination passports and allowed to travel to European countries.
