Hyderabad: Couple, C. Raju, 36, and his wife C. Lathasri, 39 who were employed in the patient care ward at state-run Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) were arrested by Gachibowli police today.
They were accused of robbing gold ornaments from the unconscious patients and who died due to COVID-19.
According to o police, Raju and his wife Lathasri were stealing the ornaments and any other valuables on patients who were in an unconscious state and from dead bodies in the hospital.

Police recovered 16-Tulas of gold ornaments, 80-tulas of silver anklets and 1-Samsung cell phone all worth of Rs.10 Lakhs.
