Contractor Killed and Dumped in Annaram Lake in Hyderabad, over Finacial Dispute

Hyderabad: A 60-year-old building contractor, who went missing after leaving his house in Kukatpally four days ago, was found dead in Annaram lake.

According to Kushaiguga police, on receiving information, they reached the spot and a body was retrieved with the help of swimmers. The body was identified later as A Ram Murthy (60).  The hands and legs of the victim were tied and there were external injuries on the body.

Police suspect he was murdered and his body thrown in the lake.

Earlier, Ram Murthy had gone to meet Srikanth in Kushaiguda on 10th May, However, when he did not return home and even his phone was switched off, his family members approached Kushaihuda police and register a missing complaint.

Ram Murthy’s family suspect Srikanth and Srinivas Reddy resident of Kushaiguda to be behind the murder over a financial dispute.

Police shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital for postmortem. Police altered the missing incident to murder case. Police suspect the involvement of Srikanth alias Antony, a chitfund businessman, and Srinivas Reddy behind the murder.
