Child, 7 Year Dies after Falling into Open Nala in Bowenpally

Hyderabad: Anand Sai, a seven-year-old boy fell into an open Nala and died while playing in Anand Nagar in New Bowenpally here on Saturday.

Anand Sai was playing and washed away in a high flow of water in the open Nala before local people could rescue him.

The child’s body was retrieved from the water a few meters away from the spot where the child fell into the Nala by the Fire Department and the Bowenpally police after over two hours of search.

The Bowenpally police have registered a case and shifted the child body to the hospital for a post-mortem.
