Bullet Tank Blasts. 2nd Injured Died in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The death toll from the motorcycle fuel tank explosion at Bhavaninagar on Sunday has now reached two, as another individual succumbed to injuries on Tuesday. Mohd Shaukat Ali (42), who sustained severe burns in the incident, passed away while receiving treatment at Prince Esra Deccan College of Medical Sciences (DCMS) Shahalibanda.

Earlier, on Monday, another victim, Nadeem, who suffered over 90 percent burns, also passed away during treatment.

The tragic incident occurred when a couple was riding a Bullet motorcycle along Bhavaninagar road. The motorcycle caught fire, prompting locals to rush in to extinguish the flames by pouring water using a pipe. Unfortunately, the fuel tank suddenly exploded, engulfing ten nearby individuals in flames.

Earlier….  At least ten people, including a policeman, were injured when a Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle caught fire and exploded in the middle of a road at Moghalpura on Sunday afternoon. All the injured were shifted to Princess Esra Hospital at Moghalpura for treatment..

The incident occurred on the Bibi Bazaar road in Moghalpura. A person was riding the Royal Enfield Bullet and the engine caught fire suddenly. While the man jumped-off the motorcycle and saved himself, half a dozen local people gathered at the site and tried to douse the flames by pouring water on motorcycle.

However, unexpectedly, the motorcycle suddenly exploded and the people who were trying to put out the fire and others who were near it were injured in the ensuing flames.
