Born ad Died Together, Twins, 24 Died to Post-Covid Complications within Hours in Meerut, UP.

Meerut, UP: Twin brothers, died within hours of each other to post Covid19 complications. They died last week in a hospital in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, just hours apart.

The twins, both engineers, Joefred Varghese Gregory and Alfred George Gregory, 24 years old,  tested positive for the virus a day after they celebrated their birthday on April 23.

The twins developed fever just after their birthday. For days, the family treated them at home, bought an oximeter, and gave them medication. As their condition worsened, they were admitted to the hospital on May 1,after being treated, they were tested negative on May 10.

During post-Covid treatment complications on May 13 at 11 PM, Joefred Varghese Gregory died, and his twin brother Alfred George Gregory who was battling for his life in the same hospital passed away the next day.

The Gregorys’ third son, who is the eldest, has also tested positive for Covid-19.

The parents Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Rafael both teachers at the St Thomas School in Meerut.
