Hyderabad: Historic Bachelors’ Quarters which was built by Nizam in 1940, and that was almost being destroyed has got new life.
The Bachelors’ Quarters, was constructed by Nizam in 1940 for youngsters from financially backward families and those from who come from different villages pursuing education in the Osmania University or the City College.
39 tenants of the heritage Bachelors’ Quarters, which was one of the tallest buildings in 1940s where Muslims Ulemas climbing it to sight the new moon (Crescent) , Spent about Rs.1 crore to restore it.
