Hyderabad: A tragic accident occurred on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) at Exit No. 5 near Dundigal in Medchal district on Friday night. Three B.Tech students from VNR College lost their lives when their Skoda car, reportedly speeding, collided head-on with a parked lorry. Two other students in the car are in critical condition and have been taken to Narayana Mallareddy Hospital.
The victims were traveling from Quthbullapur to Dundigal when the incident happened. Initial investigations suggest that the accident was caused by rash and negligent driving. The Dundigal police have registered a case of negligence causing death and are continuing their investigation.
