Hyderabad: Seven international passengers who arrived at Hyderabad Airport have tested positive for the Omicron variant on Tuesday.

Three more tested positive from Hyderabad with no travel history or close contact with those who traveled recently. Taking the total number of Omicron positive infections to 62 in Telangana.

The detection of Omicron positive with no travel history hints at the possibility of the initial stages of community transmission of the Omicron variant in Hyderabad.
