24 Patients Dies due to Oxygen Shortage in Karnataka Hospital: Covid Deaths or Govt. Responsible?

Bengaluru: 24, among 23 Covid patients allegedly died after the oxygen supply dropped in Karanataka Hospital.

Lokesh,  a father of one deceased said, “My boy had recovered 75%. If there had been an oxygen cylinder he could have been saved,”

Rajanna, a relative of one deceased said, “He received a call from his nephew at midnight at around 12 o’clock saying there was no oxygen and when we came here immediately, they didn’t allow any of us in. When we called again, there was no reply. That meant he was gone. He died because of lack of oxygen”.

The state government has ordered a probe after the tragic incident in which 24 patients died at a government hospital in Chamarajanagar due to Oxygen shortage.

Karnataka, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has appointed an IAS officer to probe the deaths of the 24 patients and instructs them to submit the report within three days.
