The antiviral drug is currently in high demand for the treatment of Covid patients.
Hyderabad: Acting on tip-off information the Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone team laid a trap at Nimantran Hotel, Secunderabad in the limits of Market PS and arrested 2 persons and seized the injections on Friday.
Police Seized 40 Methylprednisolone Sodium Succinate, and 12 Remdesivir injection vials, police also seized 3 mobile phones and a car from them.
The arrested persons along with seized material were handed over to Market PS, for taking further action.
The arrested persons were identified as
- D. Bhuvaneshwar Raju, 37 yrs, Civil Contract business R/o., LB Nagar, N/o. Khammam Dist, Telangana,
- K. Manasa, 32 yrs, Pvt Job in consultancy R/o. Sanath Nagar, N/o. Gadavari Khani , Peddapalli Dist.
