Dubai Passenger Hides Gold in Aircraft Washroom, Cochin Passenger Smuggled to Hyderabad, 1.2 KG Gold Seized by Customs

Hyderabad, 07 April: First, A Dubai-Cochin passenger who smuggled 1.2 KG of foreign marked gold to India and concealed in the washroom of the aircraft, later, a different Cochin-Hyderabad passenger retrieved the same gold from aircraft washroom, worth Rs. 60 lakhs and smuggled to Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Custom official at Hyderabad registered a case of smuggling, and further investigation in process.
