Hyderabad: With the Election Commission of India (ECI) granting permission, the Telangana State government is set to celebrate State Formation Day on June 2. Chief Secretary A Santhi Kumari has instructed officials to make comprehensive arrangements for the event at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad.
In preparation, the Chief Secretary held a meeting with senior officials to review the necessary arrangements. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will commence the celebrations by visiting Gun Park to pay tributes to the martyrs at the Telangana Amaraveerula Stupam.
The police department has been tasked with preparing a traffic route map, designating alighting/pick-up points, and arranging parking spaces with clear signage. They will also regulate the movement of dignitaries to ensure smooth and timely departures.
The R&B department will provide barricading and arrange shading to protect attendees from the sun. GHMC officials have been instructed to handle cleaning, leveling, sanitation, and decorating the venue with flags.
The cultural department is responsible for ensuring the participation of artists to create a festive atmosphere. The energy department will ensure an uninterrupted three-phase power supply, with a standby team available at the venue.
