Hyderabad: Mohd Aijaz, 18, a listed rowdy sheeter was murdered in Bahadurpura around midnight on Thursday.
He was earlier involved in the attempt to murder Gaffar also a listed rowdy sheeter. Police suspect Gaffar and his friends Aslam, and Waheed to be behind the murder of Aijaz.
According to his mother, he was called outside by the suspects and attacked him with iron rods and boulders at a secluded spot near Vidya Bharathi School in Bahadurpura. He died on the spot.
The Bahadurpura police are examining footage from CCTV cameras in the surroundings to identify the killers. The CLUES team and Dog Squad visited the crime scene and collected samples.
The body was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital morgue for post-mortem.
