Hyderabad: Two teenaged girls in separate incidents allegedly committed suicide in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
In the first incident, a 17-year-old girl allegedly consumed some poisonous substance in Tappachabutra. She was allegedly ended her life after her mother reprimanded her for not helping her with household chores.
According to the police, after scolded by her mother for not helping her with household work, she was slipped into depression and consumed some poisonous substance, she was shifted to a hospital where she died while undergoing treatment on Tuesday.
In the second incident, a 17-year-old girl allegedly hanged herself to the ceiling fan to death at her house in Bhavaninagar after her mother scolded her for speaking over the phone for long durations. The body was handed over to the family after postmortem examination.
