Two Interstate Arrested for Human Trafficking Under PD Act by Rachakonda Police

Hyderabad: Commissioner of Police Rachakonda invoked the PD Act against two persons of human trafficking offenders for organizing prostitution in the limits of Chaithanyapuri PS and detained them in the Prison on 27-05-2021.

According to Rachakonda Police, The accused Allani Shyam (49), and Smt. Ramishetty Sandhya (32) along with their associates used to post girls’ photos on the “LOCANTO website with their phone numbers offering for online and offline women companionship in obscene poses for their wrongful gains.

The accused have been exploiting women who were very poor or not having family members, deserted lonely ladies, poor laborers, women under severe depression and inducing them with high return of income and trafficking, forcing them into prostitution and thereby victimizing those who were already victimized in their life tenure.

On tip-off information, Chaithanyapuri Police raided the house at Saisadan Apartments, Road No: 14, Alkapuri, Chaithanyapuri, and arrested the accused Allani Shyam, Smt. Ramishetty Sandhya along with their associates and rescued (04) victim women, hailed from West Bengal, Maharastra, and the AP States and admitted them to rescue home.

To prevent them from indulging in the Immoral trafficking business and to preserve public order, Police Rachakonda invoked PD Act against two of them and lodged them in Central Prison, Cherlapally, and Special prison for women, Chenchalguda, Hyderabad respectively.
